Dr. Clair’s philosophy on health and vitality can most succinctly summed up by his motto, "BE Health!" When asked, Dr. Clair will explain the phrase came to him while watching the movie CaddyShack. In the movie, the Zen golf pro, Ty Webb (Chevy Chase) says to his young protégé "There is a force in the universe that makes things happen...and all you have to do is get in touch with it. Stop thinking...let things happen...and Be the Ball!" Why is this phrase a source of inspiration for one of the top anti-aging doctors in Hollywood? It's simple. What Ty meant of course is that to succeed at the great game of golf, you need to "be" the ball. You need to exist as the ball, to be one with it.
Similarly, you need to BE health. In Dr. Clair’s opinion, health and vitality should be dealt with in the same way-be health personified in your eating habits, your lifestyle choices, your words, your thoughts. Focus on your goal of vibrant health, not your fears of sickness and disability.
